This year I resolve to. . .

I make resolutions to change myself every year. However, by the time I’ve acquired all the books, DVDs, and all the gadgets guaranteeing the big change, I’m too exhausted to start!

100 Startup to a Brand New You

Why do we complicate our lives with resolutions we’ll never keep?

We want to break bad habits and live life to the fullest, but somehow we can’t grab hold of whatever it is that’ll make the difference.  Or worse, once we think we have found the answer, we soon tire of its routine or realize it’s not at all what we first expected.

The truth is–change isn’t complicated.

It doesn’t require another app on our smart phone or a spreadsheet to chart our every move.

Change begins within us.

Every choice and reaction is predestined by who we determine God to be.

Knowing the truth lights the path. We simply take a step and move ahead.

The 100 Startup to a Brand New You

Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth!  Serve the LORD with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!  Know that the LORD, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.  Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!  For the LORD is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations. Psalm 100

Are you ready to make a change?

Consider the words of Psalm 100 and the power within its simplicity.

Shout.

Serve.

Sing.

Know that God is who He says He is.

Be thankful.
