3 Steps to Accomplish What You Want
Highly productive people don’t wait on opportunities, they take them. Accomplishment requires action.
Here are 3 simple steps you can take right now to reach your goals and make those far off dreams your reality.
#1 In order to accomplish our goals, we must create them.
Productive people begin their day knowing what they want and how they will do it.
Setting goals clarifies our focus to envision what we want to accomplish.
When we start our morning with a specific goal in mind, we’re much more likely to reach it. As each goal is achieved, we then broaden our ambitions and become even more focused as we are then fueled by those achievements.
#2 In order to choose our priorities, we must limit our choices.
When we’re overwhelmed with too many options, we waste time or do nothing at all.
Productive people limit their choices by focusing on one thing at a time, starting with what needs to be accomplished right now. There will always be a mile-long list of things to do.
The key to striking things from the list is by starting with what needs immediate attention. Start there and continue until the task is complete.
#3 To produce good works, we must invest our lives rather than waste our time.
Productive people realize the value within each moment and the consequences of daily actions on their lifetime achievements. What are you hoping to accomplish?
Are you investing your time today in a way that will reap lasting rewards tomorrow?
Let’s toss our time wasters and discover better ways to invest our lives in the areas where it counts.
