Need an idea for dessert that’s easy to make and delicious, too? This easy strawberry and cream cheese danish recipe is a cream cheese dessert your family and friends will love.
I love cream cheese desserts, from assorted flavored cheesecakes to those prepackaged danishes you find at the store. However, you can always tell a difference in the taste of the prepackaged varieties and something freshly baked that you’ve made yourself.
That’s why I love to make these strawberry and cream cheese danishes. They taste absolutely wonderful and, even better, they are made with frozen puff pastry sheets so they are super easy to make after dinner or just when you’re in the mood to whip up a special dessert.
The flaky crust is topped with a sugar and cream cheese filling and freshly sliced strawberries. Then, I like to add a drizzle of warmed strawberry jam so that the top bakes up with a wonderful sweet glaze. Here’s how I like to make mine.
