Who do you think you are?
Or rather the question should be:
Who determines who you are?
So often as Christian women, we struggle with insecurities and lack of confidence–everywhere.
–In the workplace, we sometimes feel the need to compare ourselves and compete.
–In the home, we often feel invisible or unappreciated.
–And even at church, we sometimes struggle to find a place where we fit or where we feel we can contribute or serve.
With so many responsiblities, it’s easy for us to allow other things to define us.
Today, my prayer is to remind you that YOU are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).
You are accepted. (Romans 15:7)
You are chosen and loved. (1 Thessalonians 1:4)
And you are made complete through Jesus and His sacrifice. (Colossians 2:9-10)
Where do you find your identity?
Who are you aiming to please?
Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.”
Today, rest assured in God’s truth of who you are and step forward in confidence, to do the work He’s purposed just for you.
Be your own greatest accomplishment–be yourself–the unique YOU God created you to be. [tweetable]
