If you are looking for a quick and easy meal idea, this ground beef pie recipe is a great one. It’s a meat pie made with a buttery crescent roll crust and filled with ground beef and pasta sauce. Of course, my family loves that it’s loaded with cheese and I love that it’s so easy to throw together in just one deep pie dish and bake.

For the spaghetti sauce, I like to use a store bought jar that has extra mushrooms or other vegetables, but any sauce will work for it. You could even add a jar of sliced mushrooms, if your family likes them, when you’re adding the sauce. Whatever type of flavored spaghetti sauces your family loves the most will do.
When baking, I also use a pie crust shield to keep the edges from browning too quickly. I just add it to the top of the ground beef pie at the beginning and then remove it about halfway through the baking time.
