Based on my latest Spring Go-To Outfit post, you’ve probably realized my love for the practical. Last week, while my husband and I were out shopping (oh the joys of shopping with hubby), I chose another go-to staple in navy blue. My husband has teased me about it ever since.
“Another navy blue shirt,” he said. “Because you need another blue shirt to add to the rest of the blue.”
Yep. I have a love for blue. Again, it’s practical and easy to combine with other pieces.
The Blues of Spring
For that reason, I am LOVING Pantone’s Spring Colors this year. Not one, but TWO blues in the mix. Maybe not navy, but still great color choices!
These blues are easy to add to your spring essentials. Both shades look great with just about anything and are perfect for us practical people who cling to our basic blues, but still want the fresh fashion favorites of spring.
Favorite Fashion Find Tip:
When shopping this spring, choose basic pieces that go well with what you already have and grab only a couple of accessories in one of Pantone’s Spring Color Trends. This will add a little trend to your spring wardrobe without going over your budget or wasting money on things you’ll never wear.
Remember: Just one piece creates the mood you’re wearing. It only takes a new nail color, bright scarf, or a fun tote to add interest to the basic staples you already wear.
Keep it simple. Find a couple of new pieces you know you’ll love wearing. Build from the go-to basics you already enjoy.
