A local tepan yaki restaurant, Flaming Wok.
Flaming Wok sounds like a fun one!
For lunch, I love to go to Chestnut Grill in Orangeburg, but I’m the only one in my family who enjoys eating there so I hardly ever get to go. (It’s a place where you want to dress nice to go eat, but it sets for a great atmosphere.)
I know how you feel, Crystal. Besides our dog, I’m the only female in the house, so our picks are usually casual with no frill spots. Wonder what dressing up for a nice night out feels like? I think I’ve forgotten!!
What a fun giveaway! I would take my mom to Redbone Alley for lunch.
I’ve only been to Redbone Alley once and loved it– wish it was closer!!
My favorite lunch spot is anyplace that I don’t have to make it myself! I actually really love Subway. Not fancy, but so yummy!
I’m with you, Heidi! I’m all for the NO COOKING 🙂
at home!
A local gastro-pub – Twiggs.
I pretty much love going to any restaurant in the downtown area. Or Mimi’s Cafe.. yeah that’s a nice one too. OMG their muffins!
never been to Mimi’s Cafe–guess I need to add it to my list!
I like local places. This way the money I spend goes back into a community as opposed to a corporation.
Great thought, Lauren– I love that idea
I love Mimi’s Cafe too! It’s definitely a place I frequent often when meeting a friend or my mom for lunch.
I try to eat at the locally owned shops for lunch
A local all-you-can-eat sushi place that’s completely delicious.
yum! all u can eat, too? sounds like a great place!
My favorite lunch spot is a local thai restaurant that looks a bit divey but inside is beautiful and has the best dishes!
My favorite lunch spot is Panara Bread!
My home is my favorite lunch spot 🙂
Olive Garden or Chilis.
My favorite is Panera Bread
One of my favorite lunch spots is Schlotzsky’s.
I love Whole Foods – that way there are healthy choices and so many yummy things to try!
I enjoy lunch at Chilis most days and other days at McAlisters
I love going to Texas Roadhouse.
oh, me too, Jessica! We love Texas Roadhouse– the butter is delicious!
I live in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, so there are many wonderful, local places to have a nice lunch. I would say my favorite is the Red Onion. They have a great lunch menu, use foods grown by local farmers and a nice patio area to eat outside 🙂
I love the Blue Ridge area, but never tried the Red Onion– I’ll add it as a Must Stop the next time I visit–thanks, Betsy!
My mom and I both like Chili’s.
Oh Its hard to pick one but Burdette’s Tea shop in Springfield TN is nice and we also like the Hibatchi Grill in Madison, TN.
Burdettes Tea Shop!! Great Mother’s Day place for lunch!
Love sitting on the patio in the spring enjoying lunch at Panera!
My favorite lunch spot is a little Thai food restaurant nearby, but when my mom comes to visit she only wants to go to Denny’s. 🙂
that’s funny, Gina! Sounds like your mom likes a routine 🙂
Our favorite lunch place is a Japanese place where we can cook our food at the table…and of course we roast marshmallows for smores for dessert!
my family loves a local Japanese place as well– the kids enjoy the cooking entertainment and we all love the great food!
We like to go to our local sushi restaurant. They have the menu sent up with a list of all the fish types available, all the sauces, garnishes, and vegetables and you check everything you want each sushi roll made out of! Love it!
My favorite lunch spot is Rainforest Cafe!
I love Rainforest Cafe, too!!
Depends on my mood – but it’s always a place with down home cooking 😀
With the kids, Taco Bell. Without the kids, Chipotle. But lately I’ve been craving cream of chicken & wild rice soup from Panera!
