Chicken Roll Ups Crescent Rolls
As a busy mom with a family that always seems to be hungry, I love easy chicken recipes because they are usually less expensive and quick and easy to create. That’s why I am loving these chicken roll ups crescent rolls. This recipe really makes an easy dinner and it is loaded with wonderful flavors. It’s one of those recipes you’ll want to save, too, because it’s a great one any day of the week that the kids will absolutely love.
Because it’s a chicken crescent roll recipe, the kids can just pick them up and dip them in their favorite marinara sauce or other condiment that goes well with chicken. So it makes the perfect recipe for parties, too, or for family fun nights when you eat dinner while you play games or watch a movie together.
Try our Crescent Roll Pizza Roll Ups, too. They are fabulous!
I’ve created similar recipes in the past using a can of refrigerated crescent rolls. They are so versatile to use, and I’ve made lots of fun meals with them, and a few sweet treats, too. But this time, I wanted to do a basic chicken roll ups crescent rolls with something just a bit different. And, since both of my boys love parmesan chicken, I thought I’d make this like a fun treat they’d serve at a pizza place or something. That way as I mentioned earlier, the boys could dip them in marinara sauce. What is it with kids and dipping sauces?
I am happy to report the boys, and Dad, devoured them. Next time I will actually double this recipe because they were gone in a flash.
I also used one of my favorite sandwich spread mixtures on the inside of the roll up, too, to add a little bit of a parmesan kick to the center. And then I sprinkled each crescent roll with a little more grated parmesan to add that flavor to the flaky crust, too.

Here’s how I made mine.
Parmesan Chicken Roll Ups
Ingredients
8 pieces of uncooked chicken tenderloins
1 can of refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1/2 cup of mayonnaise
1/4 +3 Tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese
4 slices of deli-style mozzarella cheese
3 Tablespoons butter
1 cup marinara sauce
salt and pepper
Directions
Heat the oven to 375 degrees and spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray.
Season each side of chicken with salt and pepper and melt 2 tablespoons of the butter in a skillet over medium high heat on the stove. Cook the chicken for about 10 minutes until each side is nicely browned, and set aside.
In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise and 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese. This will serve as a wonderful coating for the chicken to give it an extra kick of flavor.
Unroll each triangle of crescent rolls and place one piece of chicken at the wide end of each one. Spread a good layer of the mayonnaise mixture on top of each piece of chicken.
Divide the mozzarella slices in half to create 8 slices, and add to the top of each piece of chicken.
Roll the crescent dough around each piece of chicken and place on the prepared cookie sheet. Melt the remaining tablespoon of butter in the microwave and brush over the tops of each crescent roll. Then sprinkle each roll-up with the remaining grated parmesan cheese.
Bake for 14-15 minutes or until the roll-ups are golden brown.
Serve with warmed marinara sauce. Enjoy!
