This easy Lasagna Bowl Recipe combines all those wonderful lasagna flavors in one hearty bowl.

Easy Lasagna Bowl Recipe

Lasagna is one of those go-to meals at our house. We love the thick pasta and all the wonderful cheeses. But making a traditional lasagna can be time consuming. That’s why I prefer to make one on the stovetop in my skillet or when I’m craving more of a soup or stew, I like to make this easy version in a large pot on the stove, too.

It’s not a soup or stew, though, so I’m calling it more of a lasagna-in-a-bowl. Just make sure to grab a big bowl because it’s really tasty.

It’s the perfect dish for those cold nights when you’re looking for something warm and hearty. And, of course, we like to top our bowl with a generous sprinkle of cheese. We normally use shredded Parmesan cheese for this one, but a little shredded mozzarella or even some mild cheddar would work great, too. Our family loves all kinds of cheeses, so I try to keep a variety on hand to suit everyone’s taste.

So here’s how I like to make this one.

Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef

1 large onion, chopped

1 large green pepper, chopped

1 garlic clove, minced

2 cans (14 1/2 oz.) beef broth

2 cans diced tomatoes, undrained

1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce

1/4 cup tomato paste

1 can whole kernel corn, drained

2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

1 box uncooked spiral pasta

1 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded

salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Cook ground beef, onions, and pepper in a large saucepan until the onions and peppers have softened and the meat is cooked through. Drain.

Add the garlic, broth, tomatoes, sauce, paste, corn, Italian seasoning, and a dash of salt and pepper.

Stir all together and bring to a boil. Stir in the pasta. Once boiling again, reduce the heat to a simmer for about 10 minutes until the pasta is tender.

Serve each bowl with a sprinkle of cheese. Enjoy!
