As a teacher, I loved St. Patrick’s Day. I loved sharing the story of St. Patrick and all those fun activities that made the day so exciting.

This year, I decided to create a sweet surprise for St. Patrick’s Day. I couldn’t resist playing off the mint patties treats. My son loves mint chocolate everything, and since I was sure I’d be sending the treats for his teacher, I knew the mint patties would be the perfect idea for this treat.

So I added a “Happy St. Patty’s Day” and a shamrock to create a fun idea that’s super easy to assemble, print, and clip together.

Here’s what I used to make mine:

—Pearson’s Mint Patties

–small plastic snack bags

These printables are adorable on any kind of treat you choose, but since I was playing off the ‘patties’ idea, I chose to use clear treat bags to add a little extra fun to the treat.

By using small bags, the mint patties really filled in the space. They turned out beautifully and I can’t wait until St. Patrick’s Day to share them with teachers and friends.
