I’m all about quick dinner ideas to serve on busy weeknights. I am constantly on the lookout for easy recipe tricks and basically anything that cuts down on cooking time. I would rather spend more time enjoying dinner with the family than cooking difficult and time-consuming recipes.
That’s why I love cooking with refrigerated crescent rolls. There are so many ways to serve them! You can stuff them with chicken to make Parmesan Chicken Roll Ups or make these super easy Crescent Pizza Roll Ups and serve them with a salad or some other simple side. These roll ups are also perfect for parties, too, so by keeping just a few items on hand, you can throw these in the oven to serve as a last-minute filler any day of the week.
Be sure to try our CREAMY CHICKEN WITH CRESCENT ROLLS. They’re delicious!
Don’t be afraid to experiment with flavors and different types of cheeses, too. You really can’t go wrong with a stuffed and baked crescent roll. And browned ground beef would be a great substitute if you aren’t a big fan of pepperoni.
I like to stock up on jars of marinara sauce and spaghetti sauce for these types of recipes. They’re usually versatile, so I just keep a few jars of our favorite varieties in the pantry. That way, I always have something I can throw over pasta or refrigerated dough to make a quick one the boys will like.
