Crock Pot Cheeseburger Sandwiches : Ever tried a burger made in a pot? These slow cooker cheeseburger sandwiches are easy, cheesy, and loaded with flavor! We love these easy recipes.
My boys love any kind of hamburger- especially one that’s loaded with ground beef and plenty of cheese. And since my husband loves trying new ways to make them, I usually let him handle the burgers at our house. Usually he grills them, but this time he decided to try his hand at one made in the Crock-Pot. I know. I wasn’t sure about his “burger in a pot” idea, either. But since I’ve often made a similar version in a cast iron skillet, I figured I’d let him have a go.
I’m happy to say that his Crock Pot cheeseburger sandwiches were fabulous! You could easily add sliced pickles, ketchup, and mustard just like with any classic cheeseburger if you wanted. However, I think they taste delicious without all of those extra toppings. These slow cooker cheeseburger sandwiches are wonderful on their own.
The boys devoured them and, from here on out, I am sure that my husband will remain on cheeseburger duty to make them again and again.
