Need ideas for summer dessert recipes your kids will love? Here’s one big list of cool summer treats that are refreshing and perfect for summer vacation.

summer-dessert-recipes

This week is the last full week of school in our area. That means, next week we’ll have a few half days filled with awards programs and field day and then the fun days of summer begin for us. I can’t wait, either.

I love the lazy days of summer, which usually aren’t really lazy for us, because we love getting outdoors and kayaking, playing games, or doing other fun in the sun sort of things that keep us busy all summer long.

However, one of my all-time favorite things about summer for us is the refreshing summer dessert recipes. Creating these sweet treats is actually part of the fun for us. Whether it’s churning our own ice cream or freezing popsicles, there is just something wonderful about making those memories while enjoying the cool summer desserts we love.

That’s why today I am sharing a few summer dessert recipes we plan to create during summer vacation. Check out these refreshing treats to keep you cool this summer.

What a great list of summer treats. I’m pinning so that I can try and beat this SC heat that’s just around the corner. But, I confess, summertime is my favorite time of the year. 🙂

I’m with you, Alli– I love SC in the summertime, but it’s that pesky humidity I can live without!!

Ha, I should have known when I clicked through from the Super Mommy Club that I would land on your page 🙂 Your images always make me click! I love this roundup.. Super hard to pick a favorite here. I think I will try the homemade dole whip as my husband really likes that when we go to Disney. The berry and citrus slushy looks super too.
